| CGPDTM Publishes “Register of Patent Agents†in Electronic Form |
| For the benefit and interest of all concerned, the Controller General of Patents Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) has now published the ‘Register of Patent Agents’ in electronic form on its website www.ipindia.nic.in. |
| The step has been taken to so that anybody interested in getting details of a patent agent such as the Agent number, Residential address, Business Address, Agent qualification, etc. may obtain them from the website at his convenience. |
| The records have been made available to the public in electronic form on its website with effect from 28th February 2012. |
| The move by CGPDTM can be seen as one to convert its physical records into electronic form and to make the records more accessible to the general public. |
